To provide shelter, better education and sence of security to theorphans and poor, Sree Mookambika Balikasadan started its service under the guidance of Sarvamangala Charitable Trust.At present there are girls from the age of 4 to 20 and 4 dedicated Sevikas to lookafter the inmates.
Atpresent, The Balikasadan in housed in a conjusted rented house at Pallikunnu. Because of the space constraint the orphanage is not in a position to give shelter to more number of girls.Inorder to overcome the difficulties, the trust has purchased 43 cents lf land near to Sree Dharmasashta Temple, Chalad, with the help of a number of UDARAMATHIKAL.
The next aim is to construct a suitable building to house the orphanage and also to diversify the activities of the Trust to make each and every one of the inmate to stand on their on foot after they come out of the orphanage. The Plan and sketch of the proposed building is already got approved. Land levelling, Bhoomipooja, Kuttiyadi etc are over. We have to start the foundation works at the earliest. Inorder to overcome the resource constraint, the committee appeals to one and all to contribute their best for the noble cause.
